Ah, I've caught up now! This shot is of me, right now.
I was out for a friends birthday celebrations
on both Saturday and Sunday and now,
this is me; hung over.
And panting from all my imaginary running.
Phew! I'm pretending
I'm running a large distance while I'm putting these photos up!
The next one is of a friend and fellow artist,
attempting to look all professional!
Ok, so I think I owe four more photos including todays,
so here's what should have been day five!
This shot's also from the tower,
some tiny little ant people I squished with my fingers!
Day 3 and what a strange day it was. The castles got a big project ahead of itself!
If you'd like to help, drop us a line! :P
PS- Some trees while on the road, with a nice mist that we had to drive through, that turned into a fog that we left snow for, to come out of, with decent sun and warmth!
Why do I do this to myself? I love whiskey but for some reason it doesn't love me back. It's deceptive, all lovely and warm and tasty and then POW! right in the face. You wake up wearing yesterday's clothes, someone elses shoes, your mouth feels like you've been eating canal reeds, your head throbs like a rhino stood on you and you've no money left but you have got 700 bruises and no idea where they came from.
I woke up at half eight, in time to get to college on time for a change, but I was still drunk. So I went back asleep and arrived into college at 1.
I bought a new book for a project I have due in Febuary. It's all about visual context and the way in which we view photographs. It's really difficult. For some reason I just can't get my head around it.
I spent the vast majority of the day in bed. I missed college. Oops! In a half hearted attempt not to waste the day I set off to the pub for a few quiet drinks with my friend Nick. Needless to say those "few quiet drinks" turned into a late night in an awful nightclub in Limerick, complete with stumble into a taxi and ridiculous conversations. It seems I am incapable of going to the pub for one drink.
Unfortunately all of the snow in Limerick disappeared overnight and turned into rain, and howling winds. So that puts a stop to the winter wonderland. I took a photo of me and Nick in the riddlers, the local gay bar. Which has very confusing toilet seats.
Tomorrow I will take my photo early, I will go to college, and then I will do some project work.
And then day two arrived and we wondered if things would get done and they did, just! I went to the DITs mature student and CAO open day. Not what I expected but I did get a free pen and a book of past students applied art work. All in all, not too bad. I also took this photo. Enjoy.
Rail and stairs near... em,
Christ Church is the nearest thing I can think of.
I almost forgot all about it until Mike text me. Oops! We decided on a winter wonderland theme because Ireland is covered in snow. It's the worst weather we've experienced for years!
The snow on my side of the country is melting though. Sad Face. I randomly had a big white ribbon in my pocket when I went into the garden. So I got creative, as I had no intention of leaving the comfort of my nice warm house.
I used my compact for this picture. To keep things on even footing with Mike I decided to do this project solely with my compact camera. It's always refreshing to step away from the SLR and get back to point and shoot.
